A while ago, Taki sent me a few of his photos. I think they’re great. And I promised him I would post them here, so here they are:

En la servilleta de hoy encontré esta receta:
Pollo con salsa de soja
Cortar 700g de pollo en cubitos y saltearlo.
Agregar de a poco agua y salsa de soja y dejar hervir.
Aparte, rehogar 2 zanahorias en juliana y 200g de brocoli, agregar 1 cebolla en tiritas.
Integrar esta preparación al pollo.
Espesar con un poco de fécula de maiz diluída.
Acompañar con arroz blanco.
Vamos a ver que tal es!
It happens to me a lot.
When I finally settle for something, after a while I get tired and want to change. Example: the design of this blog. Although I played with this template a bit to make it my own, I’m never satisfied.
It’s not entirely finished yet, and I already need a change, not a tiny one, but a huge makeover. It has to do with my identity. Who I am, and how do I think this spot should represent me. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been posting so much lately, I’m not feeling quite “at home” yet.
It happens in other aspects of my life too. Now that I live in a small flat, I don’t get to rearrange my furniture as I used to do when I lived with my parents, because everything here fits in one place and nowhere else. I sure miss that!
In a metaphysical way, I could think of this need, as a need to “rearrange” something in my life that’s bothering me. The hard part, is that I have to find what it is.
Do you ever feel the need to change?
After losing my iPod to some evil and criminal hands, and even though I had most of my music backed up in CD -yep, I’m not a happy owner of a DVD-RW drive yet- I wanted a faster alternative to reviewing all the contents of my music collection.
That’s why I turned to Last.fm. I had used it before, so I knew how everything worked.
I was so happy to find out my profile was still there. So all the music I had scrobbled before was on my track list. All I had to do was listen.
But it doesn’t end there. Before I thought of it as a music resource, but then I started getting interested in what the site was all about: social music. I got in touch with people that had similar music taste to mine, and made some friends.
I tried Pandora too… but I wasn’t very comfortable with the system. And besides, it kept picking artists for me, completely unknown.
That was it.
So if you want to know, I’m sticking to Last.fm for the time being…
This is how Camino del Buen Ayre looked like today at 7.30 am.
