Why Midori?

My real name is Paula, Midori is the Japanese name that my grandparents gave me when I was born, so in their honor, and because strangely enough my favourite colour is green (midori = green) I chose to use it as my public name.

So this is me

I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m a Quality Control Analyst at Globant. I’m also studying Information Technology Engineering at La Matanza University.

Why on earth do I write in English?

Mmm… good question. Although my native language is Spanish, my first blog ever was in English. Since then, I started a blog in Spanish: Pipo en la Web, but always wanted to go back to the “international version”. Now I realize that having two blogs is rather difficult, specially when I don’t have a particular topic for each… and I certainly wouldn’t post one entry in English and the translation in Spanish.

So there. Some things I’ll write here, and some things over there. Although a merge is not out of the question
