Wordle: mi nube de tags

Hoy puse la dirección de mi blog en Wordle. Lo cual dio como resultado esta nube de tags… Tendré que escribir más, pero hasta el momento está bastante acertada!! :D

The only tool you’ll ever need…

The only tool you'll ever need

… isn’t this hilarious?

The countdown is on…!

Download DayI wasn’t sure if I really wanted to write a post about Firefox Download Day, since almost everyone is writing about it.

But recently I’ve been wanting to update the blog, and when you’re out of inspiration… what do you do? You write about what everyone else is talking about.

What these guys are after…

Once the Firefox 3 is released worldwide, we’ll attempt to set a  Guinness World Record for the most downloaded software in 24 hs!  ( I say we, because as of today, a total of 974,286 people have pledged to download the software- myself included).

The date of the Download Day still remains a mystery, but according to the site, it’s going to be in June and pretty soon.

I’ve been using the version 3 beta 5 bundled with Ubuntu Hardy (oh yes, that sounds a bit geeky I know! But so does this post!! :p)  and so far it’s very nice. Too bad some add-ons aren’t supported yet :(

Nevertheless I do look forward to download day, to see what’s new in this version, and also to help set a worldwide record!!

Good ideas that help

A few days ago, I came across this site: Found Cameras and Orphan Pictures.

It’s a site where people that finds cameras or memory cards, can publish photos taken from those in the hope that the owner shows up to claim them. As I read in the blog, so far it has had a few success cases.

Being a gadget fan as I am, it’s nice to read the emails of the people that have recovered their cameras, because if I ever lost mine, I’d be forever thankful to get it back!
It’s like returning a puppy to it’s owner :D

It also has a video in You Tube promoting the initiative…

I totally for ideas like this, how a simple blog can provide such a valuable service!
