Mi primer recital de AC/DC!
Después de la primera presentación de ayer, leí en varios medios que fue impresionante y estoy ansiosa por verlo.
Mi novio, fanático del género, y mi guía personal por el mundo del rock me dice: - “Vos tenés idea lo que vas a ver mañana?” y yo pienso que todavía no caí, pero que definitivamente: AC/DC will rock my socks off.
Si te inyecta tanta energía cuando lo escuchás en el iPod… en vivo debe ser sensacional!

Debo reconocer como fan novata que algunos temas no los conozco, por lo cual me tomé la molestia de armarme un compiladito para ir preparandome para la ocasión.

Con la reciente muerte de Michael Jackson -entre otros famosos que pasaron a mejor vida- empezaron a llenarse los rankings con contenido referente a MJ. Gracias a esto, encontré este video de Thriller, hecho por prisioneros de Filipinas, que muchos habrán visto dando vueltas por ahí:

Ni bien lo vi, me acordé que los mismos tipos también habían hecho su versión del Algorithm March. Esto me intrigó y lo primero que hice fue buscar en YouTube a ver qué más habían hecho… Y me encontré con una lista bastante larga de sus actuaciones. Es más, hay un playlist que compila todos sus videos!

Tengo el presentimiento de que próximamente tendremos una obra musical para Broadway al estilo de The Producers

Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865). Amaterasu Emerges from the Light.

Amaterasu is the Sun Goddess in Japanese Myth. One day she became angered by the teasing of her brother, Susanowo, the God of Thunder. She went into a cave and vowed never to come out.

While in the cave, the world was in complete darkness. Other Gods pleaded with her to come out and brought magicians and others to roll back the stone she was using to block the entrance, but nothing would make her come out.

If the Goddess of the Sun kept her light hidden, everything on earth would die. Uzume decided to lure Ameratsu from the cave.

Uzume opened a barrel of sake and turned it upside down and began to play and beat upon it. Everyone began to laugh and rejoice as she danced and played on the barrel.

Filled with curiosity, Amaterasu came close to the entrance and rolled away the stone so that she could join the others in the festivities.

Thus sunlight returned to the world and it has been handed down that the drum made by Uzume was the first taiko in the world.
