Siempre me gustó Bon Jovi, pero debo admitir que pocas veces realmente me senté a escuchar y analizar qué era lo que dicen las letras de sus canciones.

Hoy puse el shuffle para variar un poco y la primera canción que salió fue esta: Someday I’ll be Saturday night. Y le presté atención al estribillo.

Que gran canción para ponernos las pilas cuando estamos bajoneados. Y es verdad, muchas veces nos sentimos como un Lunes, pero algún día seremos Sabado por la noche.

Convocatoria a apagar la luz… y a no usar traductor automático

Hoy me llegó un email cadena con la convocatoria para que el 1° de Mayo apaguemos las luces por 10 minutos para hacer respirar al planeta.
No tengo nada en contra de estas convocatorias (si en contra de las cadenas de email), pero lo que más me horrorizó fue el contenido:

Oscuridad mundial: El 1º de mayo desde las 21:50 a las 22:00 horas.
Se propone apagar todas las luces y si es posible todos los aparatos eléctricos, para que nuestro planeta pueda ‘respirar’.
Si la respuesta es masiva, la energía que se ahorra puede ser brutal.
Solo 10 minutos y vea que pasa.
Si estamos 10 minutos en la oscuridad, prendamos una vela y simplemente la miramos y nosotros estaremos respirando y nuestro planeta.
Recuerde que la unión hace la fuerza y el Internet puede tener mucho poder y puede ser aun algo más grande.

Sé que a veces soy demasiado QA… pero me chocó leer la traducción en inglés y ver que era una especie de brutish english. A decir verdad no se si habrán usado un traductor automático de internet (iba a poner Google Translator, pero quién sabe, hay mil dando vueltas por internet) o no.

Caminando con Ninjanokami al mediodía, nos encontramos con estos carteles copados afuera del Starbucks de Galerías Pacífico.

No se al público en general, pero a mí me lo re venden con estos carteles afuera del local.
